Public Safety Dispatcher I - 3rd Shift
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Any combination of clerical education or experience and/or college or university level course work which is equivalent to two years of full-time employment.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Must attend and achieve certification in IOWA/NCIC system within 6 months of employment and 40 hour course at the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy within first year of hire.
Desirable Qualifications
· The ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks;
· Public contact/customer service experience;
· Intermediate computer skills;
· The ability to actively listen and communicate effectively through clear speech, hearing, and written documentation.
