Qual & Op Improv Coordinator - STS Database
- A BSN or Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate medical-related clinical discipline, or equivalent combination of related education and clinical experience is required.
Experience Requirements
- 1-3 years of recent clinical experience providing care to adult or pediatric populations is required.
- Recent experience using an electronic medical record is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of incorporating evidence-based practice techniques in a health care setting is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Power Point and Excel is required.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- A Master’s degree in health-related field
- Current license to practice nursing in Iowa
- Medical record abstraction or clinical computer information systems experience
- Computer proficiency with databases or software applications
- Formal continuing education in performance improvement techniques such as DMAIC, TQM, or similar nationally recognized techniques
- Professional certification to healthcare quality (i.e. CPHQ, ASQ)
