Research Assistant - College of Dentistry - Iowa Institute of Oral Health Research
REQUIRES:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, anatomy and/or physiology, biochemistry, genetics, or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Typically requires 6 months lab experience including PCR, or DNA sequencing, or DNA/RNA isolations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience manipulating spreadsheets (i.e. Microsoft Excel or Google).
Desirable:
- Experience with molecular and cell biology techniques including cell culture, and/or standard cloning/subcloning. Candidates with prior experience of working with cell culture will be prioritized for consideration.
- Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative environment.
