Research Assistant
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have the ability to quickly develop positive rapport with potential study subjects.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and improvise in unpredictable or demanding situations.
- Experience with computer software applications including Microsoft Office suite is required.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology is required.
- Demonstrated experience working with human research participants.
- Demonstrated ability to enter data into and manage research databases according to best practices.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
- Experience with clinical trials, IRB submission, grant preparation, or human subjects research.
- Experience with EEG, neuroimaging, or cardiac monitoring for research use.
- Experience coding in at least one language such as MATLAB, Python, Perl, Java, or UNIX shell (Linux).
- Experience with R or SPSS for data entry or analysis.
- Experience with RedCap.
- Experience with graphic design of figures for papers.
