Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, genetics, neuroscience, physiology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs and the ability to learn new technical skills quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and maintain laboratory stock reagents and supplies.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, strong organizational skills, and accurate record keeping.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new and varied techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe, healthy, and functional working environment in the lab.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Previous laboratory or research experience in the areas of molecular biology/biochemistry/biology/physiology or related field.

Desired Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability in basic laboratory skills like PCR and Western blotting.
• Ability to supervise undergraduate students.
