Required Qualifications

  • B.S. in molecular biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or other biological discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years of laboratory experience conducting research that involves a variety of standard immunological and molecular biology techniques and assays, including flow cytometry, fluorescent microscopy or confocal microscopy, gene expression assays including RT-PCR, etc. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience working with mouse models, including mouse survival surgery and mouse husbandry
  •  Proficiency in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office, Microscoft Excel, Prism, Flowjo, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and ImageJ
  • M.S. in molecular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, or an engineering discipline
  • Experience managing a laboratory
  • Able to work independently and work on multiple projects
