Research Assistant: DSHB Antibody Validation and Development
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in biomedical laboratory research, particularly in antibody validation or protein expression.
- Strong professional organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with standard molecular biology techniques (DNA, RNA, Protein analysis) and data analysis and computational tools.
- Valid drivers’ license and ability to meet and maintain UI Fleet Safety Standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience with mammalian cell culture, recombinant antibody expression systems, or antibody purification.
- Experience with immunofluorescence and high-throughput image analysis.
- Experience in a dynamic research environment.
- Interest in contributing to open science and reproducibility in biomedical research.
