Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a biological science (e.g., biochemistry, genetics, microbiology).
  • Previous experience in microbiology, cell biology, immunology, or biochemistry laboratory
  • Experience with mammalian tissue culture standard operating procedures and techniques including plasmid transfection.
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques including PCR, plasmid purification, bacterial transformation, agarose gel electrophoresis, and western blotting. 
  • Experience in gathering, recording, and analyzing experimental data.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize projects and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications 
  • Experience with the safe handling of pathogenic agents is desired.
  • Experience with protein purification is desired.
