Research Assistant - Pediatric Neonatology
Required Qualifications
· Requires a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Minimum of 12 months’ experience in biomedical research.
· Minimum of 6 months experience with basic lab techniques.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Demonstrated proficiency maintaining excellent lab notes and records.
· Demonstrated experience balancing a supervised position with opportunities for autonomy.
Highly Desired Qualifications
· Experience with human sample processing.
· Experience in management and breeding of mice, including genotyping.
· Experience with neonatal mice.
· Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize priorities and work independently to meet deadlines.
Desired Qualifications
· Experience with basic biostatistics.
· Experience in basic molecular biology techniques such as chromatin immunoprecipitation, bacterial and cell culture or PCR.
· Experience in basic microbiological sterile techniques.
· Excellent attention to detail.
