Education Requirements |

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience Requirements |
-
At least 12 months’ experience in biomedical research
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated proficiency maintaining excellent lab notes and records.

Willing to perform animal based experiments of infection and immune responses.
Highly Desired Qualifications |
-
Experience in management, breeding and imaging of zebrafish.
-
Experience with in vivo microscopy.
-
Experience with genetic manipulations of zebrafish such as constructing transgenic lines, mutant lines and using morpholinos.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize priorities and work independently to meet deadlines.
Desired Qualifications |

Experience with basic biostatistics.

Experience in basic molecular biology techniques such as cloning, western blotting, or PCR.
-
Experience with quantitative measurements of cells using a microscope.
-
Experience in basic microbiological sterile techniques.
-
Experience with DNA transformations of bacteria or yeast.

Excellent attention to detail.
