Qualifications
Education Requirement
A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience Required
1- 3 years of project management experience on human subjects public health or medical/clinical research studies.
Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
Demonstrated skills to work effectively and relate well with people both internally and externally.
Ability to travel and provide valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supervising staff and students.
Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy and strong organizational skills.
Experience with personal computers, expert working knowledge of word processing (Word) and working knowledge of database management software (RedCap or Access).
Desirable Qualifications
Three years of project management experience with human subjects public health or medical/clinical research studies.
Master’s degree in Public Health or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience writing grant proposals and research manuscripts.
Demonstrated experience in developing human subjects applications, protocols, and survey instruments and in reporting to human subjects Institutional Review Board.
