Research Associate
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s
degree, supplemented by one or more years of progressively responsible
experience in the conduct of social science research or an equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
Ability
to travel to regional and national meetings and conferences. Ability to travel overnight, valid US driving
license and the ability to meet the University of Iowa Fleet Safety Program
driving standard.
Knowledge
of and previous experience with the qualitative interview process.
Evidence
of success in communicating and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
Highly Desired Qualifications
Experience
overseeing research initiatives.
Previous
supervisory experience.
Desirable Qualifications
Minimum
of 1 year of experience working with other professionals and the general
public.
Master’s
degree in Public Health or equivalent degree.
Knowledge
of University of Iowa policies, procedures and regulations.
