Research Associate - Endocrinology & Metabolism
Education Requirement:
A Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in research utilizing cell biology or molecular biology is required.
Excellent pipetting skill is required. The position invovles performance of molecular biology and pancreatic islet isolation.
Experience dissecting animals is required.
Experience with sterile technique and cell/tissue culture is required.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in pancreatic islet isolation and culture is preferred
Experience with DNA, RNA, protein, and lipid analyses is preferred.
Experience with mouse colonies and mouse surgery is preferred.
Experience in confocal microscopy and high resolution imaging technique is preferred.
