Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Cell Biology, or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a microbiology or immunology laboratory or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in molecular biology and cell culture
  • Understanding of general and specific laboratory procedures, and scientific approach methodologies
  • Ability to follow research methodology and protocol
  • Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures
  • Strong problem solving and attentiveness to detail
  • One or more years of lab experience including: 
    • Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
    • Disease models with laboratory rodents
    • Flow Cytometry
    • Immunofluorescent staining/microscopy
    • Protein purification, SDS-PAGE, and Western analysis
    • Cytotoxicity assays

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with viral transductions using lentivirus or adenovirus
  • Experience with CRISPR
