Research Associate - Microbiology and Immunology
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Cell Biology, or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a microbiology or immunology laboratory or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in molecular biology and cell culture
- Understanding of general and specific laboratory procedures, and scientific approach methodologies
- Ability to follow research methodology and protocol
- Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures
- Strong problem solving and attentiveness to detail
- One or more years of lab experience including:
- Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
- Disease models with laboratory rodents
- Flow Cytometry
- Immunofluorescent staining/microscopy
- Protein purification, SDS-PAGE, and Western analysis
- Cytotoxicity assays
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with viral transductions using lentivirus or adenovirus
- Experience with CRISPR
