Education Required: Master’s degree in public health, social work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications:
• Experience in research and program evaluation with human subjects research certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience using word processing, Excel (MS Office), SPSS, and other statistical software including federal data reporting systems.
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to enter, organize, manipulate and analyze data sets.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet University of Iowa Fleet Services standards.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with Educational preparation in statistics (e.g., biostatistics, social sciences, health statistics training).
• Familiarity and knowledge of public health/social service delivery systems and public health issues and data specific to Iowa.
• Experience with health disparities including familiarity with health issues related to race, ethnicity, gender, sex, rurality and rural and ethnic communities.
• Experience with writing grant applications.
