Education Required

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Statistics, Health Economics, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible work experience.  

 

  

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience working with a large clinical database such as AHRQ, UNOS/SRTR, NCDB, and/or NTDB.
  • Experience with data step programing to perform data manipulations, statistical analyses for data presentations and manuscripts, and sample size or power calculations.
  • Experience with study design and development in health services research as well as assisting others in study design and methodologies.  Experience with observational and interventional study design highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
     

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with statistical software packages such as SAS and STATA.
  • Experience with data base organization and management using software such as REDCap, SQL or relational database software.
