Research Development Coordinator
Education or Equivalency Required
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate 1-3 years of experience with grant and research development, including knowledge of processes, tools and services for developing and managing grants
- Demonstrate 1-3 years of professional administrative or program experience and/or project management experience
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with various funding agencies and private foundations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while achieving a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Evidence of excellent customer service and success in working with a variety of individuals including faculty, principal investigators, research staff, and funding agencies
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience leading teams of researchers in the pursuit of extramural funding
- Knowledge of higher education institutional policies, procedures, and regulations
- A Master’s degree
