Research Nurse Cardiology
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A current, valid Iowa Registered Nurse license.
1 year of nursing or research experience.
A BLS certification.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evening and nights as needed by the research protocol.
Potential overnight travel to attend meetings and protocol training.
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of cardiovascular medicine procedures and cardiovascular medicine terminology.
Previous nursing experience with the cardiovascular medicine diseases patient population.
Knowledge of IRB guidelines and procedures.
Phlebotomy experience.
Excellent time management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work.
Experience in a position requiring independent decision-making.
Knowledge of EPIC and experience with computer software applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
