Research Support Coordinator
Bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Required
Knowledge of and experience with grant application processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly proficient in computer software applications (strong word processing and spreadsheet skills required).
Demonstrated ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities and tasks while successfully meeting deadlines.
Desirable Qualifications
Earned Master’s degree.
Grant related experience in a higher education setting is preferred.
Experience developing grant budgets.
One to three years of relevant direct experience working with grants and contracts from various federal, state and private funding agencies.
Experience with grant submission policies, procedures and electronic systems.
Knowledge and understanding of University of Iowa grant and research related policies, procedures and regulations.
Knowledge of federal grant policies, procedures and regulations.
