Research Support Manager
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Considerable (3-5 years) experience related to fiscal management or administration.
- PC experience, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Reasonable (1-3 years) administrative supervisory experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in pre and post award management of federal, non-federal or privately funded research grants or contracts
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience administering externally funded grants or contracts, including budget preparation, forecasting and interpreting funding agency and University guidelines.
- Knowledge of current local, state and federal regulations.
- Reasonable (1-3 years) experience working with administrative budgets..
- Experience administering NIH and CDC funded research.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare reports, charts and/or documents of technical and scientific nature.
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations.
