POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Qualifications:

· Typically 3-5 years of program/project management and grant administration.

· Ability to effectively coordinate and manage the development of multi-disciplinary and multi-partnered grant projects.

· Demonstrated global perspective and experience in working in a culturally diverse environment.

· Demonstrated strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

· Demonstrated experience in creating and managing budgets.

· Superior oral and written communication skills.

· Demonstrated competency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

· Valid drivers’ license and ability to meet and maintain UI Fleet Safety driving requirements.

· Must have ability to travel internationally

Desirable Qualifications:

· Master’s degree

· Working knowledge of accepted program/project management techniques.

· Demonstrated experience engaging with clients on business development opportunities.

· Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of University of Iowa grant-and research-related policies and procedures such as IRB.

· Typically 3-5 years of program/project management and grant administration particularly on the international front in a higher education setting.
