Research Support Manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Reasonable, 3-5 years directly related experience required.
- Knowledge of federal grant policies and regulations required.
- Knowledge in governmental fund accounting or comparable contracts required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Must be proficient in computer software applications (Microsoft Office Suite), specifically excel.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Supervisory experience is desired.
- 3-5 years’ experience in accounting and budgeting or comparable contract administration is desired.
- 3-5 years accounting experience in grants administration, grants management, including post-award monitoring of expenditures and reporting, preparation of budgets and monitoring of expenditures is desired.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience related to operations of an academic research and clinical department is desired.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is desired
- Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certificate desired.
- Prior experience with Recharge Centers (management of research facility) is desired.
- Knowledge of project management is desired.
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations is desired.
- Knowledge of UI automated accounting systems, CAYUSE, UIRIS, general ledger -GLDSS is desired.
