Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or an equivalent combination of education and relevant research grant experience.
  • Demonstrated (3 to 5 years) related grant accounting and financial experience
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Desirable Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with research grant management
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements regarding pre- and post-award administration.
  • Familiarity with federal grant policies, procurement, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Experience with account reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of and experience with NIH grant processes and requirements.
  • Experience working with computer programs and applications specific to grant submissions (e.g Cayuse, RPPR and Proposal Central).
