REQUIRES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 1 year relevant experience working with externally funded grants and grant submissions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen working relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel (or equivalent).
  • Excellent independent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple and concurrent tasks within deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Experience with NIH Grants policy and procedures.
  • Experience with Cayuse proposal submission system.
  • Experience with NIH eRA Commons as a delegate.
  • Experience with University of Iowa Routing Forms.
  • Experience with NIH RPPR’s.
  • Experience with NIH Training Grants and Training Grant Tables.
