Research Support Specialist
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience Required
Experience with health and safety programs is required.
Evidence of experience requiring strong organizational skills is required.
Experience with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and Access is desired.
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Ability to travel and work some evenings/weekends is required.
Desirable Qualifications
A Master’s degree in a related public health, engineering, or medical field is highly desired.
Previous experience coordinating a complex, federally funded research and training center is highly desired.Some (6 months – 1 year) experience in public speaking, technical writing and/or teaching is required.
Experience with agricultural health and safety programs is desired.
Experience working with federal and/or state granting agencies is desired.
Experience working with an interdisciplinary approach to health sciences programs is desired.
