Respiratory Therapist (Diagnostic Lab/Hyperbaric Medicine) - University Campus
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a two- or four-year AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program, or completion of the requirements to become registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Obtain registry from the NBRC within six (6) months of hire if not already registered.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of Iowa is required.
- Possess a current CPR certification card.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Greater than one year of recent ICU level experience.
- Experience with an electronic medical record documentation system.
- Currently registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Hyperbaric Medicine experience
- Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT)
- ACLS Certified
- PALS Certified
- Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT)
- Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT)
- Experience with an electronic medical record documentation system.
