MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Any combination of related clerical office experience, related undergraduate education and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to two years of full-time employment and includes the use of word processing.

 

Special Qualifications: 

  • Public Contact/Customer Service:  Must have worked in a position that requires high volume public contact, multi-tasking and answering multi-line phones on a regular basis involving internal and external customers.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to compose communications and grammatically correct documents in a concise, logical and organized manner.
  • Knowledge of University policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines as well as familiarity with UIHC entities and functions is desired.
  • Previous experience working with university accounting, Pcard and travel systems is desired.
  • Previous experience working with University HR systems is desired.
