Senior Accountant - Anatomy & Cell Biology
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Reasonable (1-3 years) accounting experience
- Proficiency in computer software applications including the Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency in statistical and financial analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational, managerial and analytical skills
- Ability to work occasional weekend or evening hours
- Knowledgeable in databases and/or database concepts
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in working with federal grants
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations
- Experience with accounts payable and purchasing, the UI General Ledger
