Senior Application Developer - Anesthesia

Experience in the development and/or support of applications used by non-technical customers to support and enhance healthcare workflows processes, typically 5-7 years for Senior Developer in leadership roles including experience with programming tools and a comprehensive understanding of database technologies

Experience acting as the primary contact for the support, configuration and development of at least one healthcare enterprise application or area of functionality

Experience working with application owners and/or vendors to define system requirements, integration requirements and understand business needs

Demonstrated ability with converting business requirements into functional/technical specifications for complex integrated systems build

Demonstrated ability using programming languages and tools for customizing vendor application software
-
Demonstrated ability communicating technical information effectively to technical and non-technical staff at the verbal, written and presentation levels

Demonstrated job-related experience and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environmentDesirable Qualifications

Experience with any of the following workflows: anesthesia, procedural and surgical services, ambulatory/inpatient nursing, or physician documentation

Experience supporting device integration in an ambulatory or hospital setting

Epic certification related but not limited to the following: EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, Optime, Anesthesia

Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical staff on system implementation projects

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with basic project management

Proven ability to write application test scripts

Experience working with HL7 interfaces
