Education Required
•    Bachelor’s in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related application development/support experience.  

Required Qualifications
•    Experience in the development and/or support of applications used by non-technical customers to support and enhance business processes, typically 5-7 years for Senior Developer in leadership roles including experience with programming tools and a comprehensive understanding of database technologies.
•    Experience contributing to the support, configuration and development of at least one Epic-specific healthcare enterprise application
•    Experience working with application owners and/or vendors to analyze system and integration requirements
•    Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with basic project management
•    A valid driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety requirements.
•    Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical staff
•    Demonstrated job-related experience and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment  

Desirable Qualifications: 
•    Experience supporting an EHR in a rural ambulatory or hospital setting
•    Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with any of the following workflows: ambulatory or inpatient clinical documentation; emergency department or ancillary services such as social work, respiratory therapy or rehabilitation services 
•    Epic certification(s) related but not limited to the following:  EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, EpicCare Procedure Orders, Epic ASAP
•    Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical staff on system implementation projects
•    Proven ability to write application test scripts
•    Experience troubleshooting HL7 interfaces and/or device integration
