Senior Application Developer, Quality Analytics and Reporting
Education Required
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Typically 5-7 years of application development experience as a lead programmer or technical expert in a complex computing environment
- Knowledge of data warehouse fundamentals
Strong experience in SQL with the ability to write complex queries and performance tune
Proven track record of researching, organizing, analyzing, and synthesizing data to support effective decision making
Demonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to define system requirements and understand business reporting needs
Demonstrated organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as cooperatively with others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong customer service skills
Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in a work/academic environment
Preferred Qualifications- Working knowledge of Tableau
Experience providing education, support, and training of new staff members and customers
Desirable Qualifications- Familiarity with Epic applications and Clarity database structure
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio 2014, including SSIS
Experience with Business Objects XI4.1 or XI4.2 reporting tools (Information Design Tool, WEBI, Crystal Reports)
- Experience with MS tools (e.g., Excel, Project, Visio, Access)
- Experience working in a healthcare or health industry environment
