Senior Business Analyst
Bachelors’ degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
• Typically requires 3 to 5 years of experience developing business intelligence solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of data warehousing/business intelligence best practices, methodologies, standards and architectures.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, or Cloud DBs
• Working proficiency with BI technologies such as MS BI stack including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS or MS Power BI.
• Working experience with data warehouse and data mart lifecycle stages; modeling, schema development, and ETL processes.
• Proven track record of delivering BI solutions through the full development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, analytics, implementation, monitoring and support.
• Experience with contemporary BI Tools (Microsoft, Tableau, and Qlik).
• Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Project management, facilitation, time management and organizational skills.
• Highly developed problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
Desired Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Data modeling and database schema experience.
• Knowledge of industry trends including data mining, visualization and predictive modeling.
• Experience with BI development best practices such as agile methodologies, source code control, issue tracking, prototyping, and testing.
• Experience with R or other statistical programming languages.
• Higher education industry knowledge or experience.
