Senior Database Administrator - ICTS Biomedical Informatics
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant application development experience.
Experience Requirements
- Experience (typically 3-5 years) in complex SQL writing, data extraction and data modeling.
- Experience (typically 3 years) working with ETL tools (SSIS etc).
- Demonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Healthcare domain knowledge and familiarity with healthcare standards and terminologies, i.e. ICD9 Codes, CPT4 Codes etc.
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with healthcare system (Epic preferably) and the underlying database structures (e.g., Clarity, Caboodle).
- Epic certifications(s) related but not limited to the following: Clarity Data Model, Clinical Data Model, Cogito Fundamentals
- Experience working with 3rd party data to define system requirements, integration strategies and implement interfaces.
- Experience with BI and other data warehousing tools.
