Education Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant application development experience.

Experience Requirements

  • Typically position requires a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related professional experience. Higher level degrees may substitute for some of the years of experience.
  • Experience working with cross-domain, cross-functional diverse databases and systems with demonstrated experience in leading multiple concurrent projects and performing in a variety of different roles in the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Expert/leader in the design and implementation of databases, data warehouse/mart implementations and data architecture.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence Reporting.
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting a diverse environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective strategies for working with diverse faculty, staff and students. 
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Expert/leader in developing and designing data strategies for data extraction, integration and implementation of systems, data warehouse and data marts.
  • Training in health science domain.
  • Extensive experience in the ability to lead, participate and moderate discussions with stakeholders for decision-making.
  • Experience with healthcare systems like Epic, GE-IDX, Cerner is desirable.
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or related field is desirable.
