Qualifications:

Education or Equivalency Required

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience (typically 3 years) conducting and/or monitoring research involving human participants, or in a related administrative role supporting human subject's research working with federal regulations.
  • Demonstrates a working proficiency in ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborate manner.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in written and oral presentations.
  • Understands the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to process information with high levels of accuracy at a working level of proficiency.
  • Ability to meet or exceed customer service needs and expectations and provide excellent customer service at a working level of proficiency.


Desirable Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of federal regulations regarding the protection of human subjects in research.
  • Technical experience with HawkIRB, data management system, or electronic workflow system.
  • Working experience reviewing, editing, or submitting IRB applications for compliance with federal regulations.
  • Reasonable (3-4 years) experience in public speaking, technical writing and/or providing verbal education/guidance.
  • Certification as a Certified IRB Professional (CIP)
