Social Worker III
REQUIRED Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with a major concentration in social work
- Some (6 months-1 year) of clinical social work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A license to practice social work in Iowa
- Demonstrated -
- experience successfully referring/utilizing community resources.
- experience with conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- complex problems solving skills.
- use of active listening and motivational interview techniques through excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency utilizing word processing, spreadsheeting, and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft Office or Google.docs)
DESIRABLE Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic health record/patient accounting system.
- Familiarity with community resources for dental patients in Iowa.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal and external groups.
- Experience supervising support staff
