Education Required: A clinical doctorate in audiology (Au.D.) or master’s degree in audiology from an accredited program.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • At least nine months post-graduate clinical audiology experience at a working level proficiency.
  • Diagnostic testing.
  • Current, valid license in audiology to practice or eligible in the State of Iowa.
  • Current, valid license in hearing aid dispensing to practice or eligible in the State of Iowa.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence is required. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as demonstrated at the working level proficiency. 
  • Excellent time-management skills, and the ability to accurately perform detail-oriented work, as demonstrated at the working level proficiency.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hearing aid selection, fitting and follow-up care.
  • Experience in clinical instruction of audiology graduate students, demonstrated at the working level proficiency.
