Educational Requirements:
  • An Associate degree in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, or Master's degree in Nursing (MNHP or MSN).
Experience Requirements:
  • 1-3 years current nursing experience in Interventional Radiology, Neuro interventional Radiology, Critical Care, and/or Emergency Treatment Care.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and limited resources.
  • Demonstration of strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Minimum 1 year of current ICU/critical care, emergency department, interventional or procedural sedation experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated competency in conscious sedation administration, patient management, recovery, and EKG interpretation.

Certification Requirements:

  • Current license to practice nursing in Iowa
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with IV and Port access.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with procedural sedation.
  • PALS Certification.
  • Professional nursing certification.
