Student Life Program Specialist
Education Required
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Typical experience is a minimum of 6 months – one year.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and support staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with a diverse population.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient in computer software applications.
- Demonstrated experience in a program requiring flexibility in managing multiple responsibilities.
- Experience supporting persons with learning and other disabilities to gain independence and inclusion in community settings. Typical experience 6 months – 1 year.
- Experience with supporting independent living and social engagement development.
Desirable Qualifications
- Direct Service Professional Certification
- Teaching or informal instructional experience with students with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and/or learning disabilities.
