Education Required: 

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience Required:

  • 6 months to 1 year or more of marketing and/or communications experience.
  • Professional experience with public outreach, marketing, and communication.

Experience Desired:

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.  Demonstrates high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of University policies and procedures.
  • Event management: working ability to plan, organize and execute events and to coordinate resources before, during and after an event.
