Support Services Specialist
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, business administration or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
- 1 year experience working with medical records/health information.
- Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
- Knowledge and proficiency with computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Office suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Three or more years working with medical records/health information
- Knowledge or experience with duplicate medical record or incorrectly merged medical record processes
- Knowledge of UI Health Care medical record/health information functions
- Knowledge and experience with Epic Clinical Documentation system
- Knowledge or experience with Epic Medical Record Tracking system
- Knowledge of UI Health Care policies and procedures
- Experience using Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams
- Certification as RHIT or RHIA
