Position Qualifications:

  • Using reporting tools and relationships with support teams, identify problem trends and opportunities for improvement of services delivered to IT support staff and end users. Suggest and implement solutions to identified issues and opportunities. 
  • Test and deploy applications, configurations, and updates to collections of clients using Microsoft Endpoint Management and JAMF Pro. Generate reports to detect exceptions, and lead processes to remediate issues on devices.
  • Generate internal documentation for supported applications and configurations.  Review and update documentation for established procedures and guidelines for deployment and support of client devices.  Participate in staff discussions and take feedback to update existing documentation
  • Provide Tier III level support to the teams providing end user support.  Troubleshoot and take ownership of complex computing problems as assigned.
  • Work alongside IT support staff to develop their skills in troubleshooting complex client computing issues with our mobile platform. Write and review documentation to capture and share found solutions.

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical problems related to client OSes with a demonstrated progression in the level of complexity of the problems resolved.
  • 3-5 years of experience providing in-depth support of desktop or mobile computer systems in an enterprise-level IT organization. 
  • Experience documenting procedural information for technical and non-technical consumption.
  • Experience interpreting incident trends, draw conclusions, propose solutions, and assist with their implementation.
  • Time management skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience delivering verbal and written communication to both technical and non-technical staff

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience configuring and delivering applications to mobile devices
  • 3-5 years of experience configuring and maintaining clients in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with ITIL or other ITSM frameworks and change management
