Technical Recruiting Specialist
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Experience (typically 2-5 years) with full-cycle recruitment activities. Including: Initiating, managing, and completing recruitments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Demonstrates knowledge and application of communication techniques to work collaboratively with a variety of individuals and groups.
- Excellent organizational skills, extreme attention to detail and task oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with polished phone, email, and social media etiquette.
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with facilitating a search committee, creating surveys, documenting feedback.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
- Experience (typically minimum of 2 years) with an applicant tracking system.
- Recruiting experience for technical roles and technical skills and/or in higher education.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for and building pipelines of diverse candidates.
- Experience with active recruiting utilizing online recruiting sites, social media, and/or internet research techniques to leverage recruitment.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience presenting or training.
- Previous high-volume recruiting experience.
- Experience with process improvement.
- Professional certification in human resources.
