Qualifications:

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Experience Required:

  • Investigation, adjudication, or student misconduct experience (typically a minimum of 3 years) including interview, interpretation of policies, data gathering and analysis, and determination of remedial actions.
  • Commitment to due process procedures and developmental learning processes within student misconduct related to college students.
  • Knowledge and application of communication (written and verbal) and relationship building skills needed to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Proficiency with computer software applications including database management, such as cloud-based management tolls.
  • Work experience in public speaking and/or teaching (typically a minimum of 1 year).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Higher Education / Student Development, Law, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
  • Experience working with sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, dating/domestic violence, stalking, civil rights, or Title IX investigations.
  • Experience working in an education setting, higher education, or with young adults.
  • Experience of more than 3 years in investigations, adjudication, or student misconduct.
  • Trained or certified in Title IX investigations from ATIXA, ASCA, or NACUA.
  • Proficient in the use of Maxient, a student database management software.
