Transplant Patient Navigator
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer service driven or education environment; demonstrates sincere concern and takes responsibility when a customer or patient identifies circumstances and behaviors that generate difficulty to access services is required.
- Working knowledge of and/or experience working collaboratively with some of the following: public and private human services agencies, community resources, health care and health specialist resources, early intervention services and other support services for patients with special healthcare care need is required.
- Demonstrates a professional presence reflecting exceptional customer service and cultural sensitivity; works effectively with individuals from all backgrounds. Demonstrated excellent listening, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; adapts communication style for the intended audience and situation is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to manage small and large group interaction is required.
- Demonstrates proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures, regulations.
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate inquiries and concerns of patients, staff, administration, and public.
