Visitor Services Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in management, communications, museum studies, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2–3 years of experience in visitor services at a museum or cultural institution
   

Competencies Required:

• Demonstrates a WORKING proficiency level in:
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Computer software applications
• Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to ensure efficient prioritization and key tasks are completed
• Maintains a passion for and commitment to welcoming, encouraging, educating, and engaging guests of all ages and families of all types

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with event management software
