Visual & Performing Arts Facilitator
Required Qualifications:
- B.A. in Art, Art History, Museum Studies, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of art installation experience in an art gallery, museum, or similar setting.
- 1 to 2 years of experience organizing public events.
- Strong organization, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Experience with power tools and artwork installation methodologies.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Desired Qualifications:
- M.F.A. or M.A in Studio Art, Art History, Museum Studies or a related field.
- Knowledge of the local and regional art scene.
- Knowledge of contemporary art, art practices, and terminology.
- Knowledge of visual and performing arts groups and organizations throughout Iowa and the Midwest.
