Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically 3-6 months experience in the following areas:
    • Demonstrated experience providing front‑line customer service in an office, reception, or service‑oriented environment.
    • Experience performing administrative duties such as data entry, recordkeeping, mail distribution, or similar clerical support.
    • Experience working with a variety of communication channels (walk‑in, phone, email) in a high‑volume service setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, accurate information to faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
  • Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and standard operating workflows with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize information, maintain accurate records, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment and interact professionally with individuals from a broad spectrum of backgrounds.
  • Proficiency with common office technology and software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, or tracking systems).
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Human Resources, higher education, or shared service environment.
  • Experience supporting intake, triage, or customer tracking systems.
  • Experience providing functional guidance, training, or oversight of student employees.
  • Familiarity with HR processes or compliance activities (e.g., I‑9 processing or related documentation).
  • Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and contribute recommendations for operational improvement.
