Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, instructional design, communications, or related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Experience Requirements:
1 year of experience in a communication and web content role, producing professional quality multimedia content (videos, podcasts, photography, social media content, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Experience with DSLR cameras and photography accessories. 

Demonstrated knowledge of video frame rate and resolution standards, video and audio codecs and compression/transcoding techniques.

Demonstrated knowledge of photo resolution, color space and file format standards for use in various media.

Expert in professional video, photo and audio editing software. 

Experience employing graphics, motion graphics and animation software.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to collaborate and contribute to a team environment.

Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint 

Experience with video and audio editing software such as Adobe Photo shop, Logic Pro, Final Cut X and Audacity

Experience and proficiency in key facets of video production including writing, filming, sound recording, editing and mastering

 

Desirable Qualifications:
Experience analyzing usage date from various platforms or web analytics software such as Google Analytics  

Knowledge of VR/AR/XR content and ability to apply professionally to an academic environment.

Experience with game engines with successful development of VR/AR/XR content using game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
