Education Requirement

  • Master’s degree in student affairs, education, or a relevant field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with undergraduate students in an academic setting. Typically, a minimum of one to three years’ experience. 
  • Experience in undergraduate advising; knowledge of and ability to address the advising needs of students. 
  • Familiarity with career development and/or recruiting, job search strategies, and professional networking. 
  • Demonstrated experience in and ability to establish positive relationships with university and community partners.  
  • Program management experience. 
  • Knowledge and application of the communication techniques and relationship building skills that develop the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. 
  • Knowledge of curriculum needed for professional development, and the ability to apply this knowledge to guide individuals on requirements for learning and development needs. 

 Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of University students Policy, Procedures, and systems.  
  • Public Speaking experience desired. 
  • Experience with planning, implementing, and assessing programs and their impact.
